The Sanctuary Women, Children and Pet’s Refuge

The Sanctuary was established in 2016 as a private charitable venture (RETREAT FOR KIDS INC, Reg. number: CH2895) by Simone and Nigel.

Simone has worked for over 28 years with people from highly vulnerable and diverse backgrounds, including those affected by domestic violence, homelessness, financial hardship, offenders and prisoners.

• The Sanctuary now helps to empower women and children from all backgrounds, to change their lives in a safe, healing and supportive environment.
• The Sanctuary provides refuge, safety, comfort, nutrition, and case management counselling for women and children to help repair the trauma associated with domestic violence.
• The Sanctuary has empowered many women and their families to escape from the cycle of domestic violence to create a brighter future.
